2024 Mako Sharks U9-U11 Travelling Team Registration

In the past few years, Mako Sharks, as a football youth training institution, our U-10 & U-9 teams have participated in more than 100 regular cup matches and league games. Now we are planning for the upcoming 2024 season.

Now it’s time to register your interest in playing in the Mako Sharks (NRF) League team in the 2024 Season.

We welcome all boys and girls of appropriate age to sign up to join our league teams for next year. All Mako Sharks players can fill out an expression of interest form and players will be selected to form a team to compete in the Auckland League for that age group.

2023 Season Mako Sharks U-9 NRF team

Player requirements:

Age: Players born between 2012 and 2016

Season time: April - September 2024 (2024 Season)

Training time: 2 training times per week, the specific time will be determined through negotiation

Training locations:

Central:  Maungawhau School

East:  William Green

Training plan:

We are committed to providing high quality training and coaching to our players. Weekly training will focus on the following:

- Improvement of basic football skills

- Tactical training and teamwork

- Physical development

- Competition preparation 

Why choose to join our league team:

1. 20 games throughout the season, the number of games needed to ensure long-term and stable player growth.

2. Ensure a sufficient amount of cup competitions, compete in various cup competitions with a stable team, and allow each player to grow through enough games.

3. Team spirit, allowing players to grow in the team, encourage and support each other

4. A more powerful coaching team, including 2 coaches with professional resumes to participate in daily training and competitions, and to track player growth over the long term based on weekly training and competition conditions.

How to register:

If your child is interested in joining our league football team, please reply to our official WeChat/coach for confirmation. Also reply with our preferred training time and location. We will observe your child's training performance in Term4 and communicate with you about the arrangements for the new season.

Cost:

League teams only charge ordinary training fees and registration fees for league and cup competitions.
